Yuna
Yuna is special though. She has her own charms too irresistible to ignore. She is like a quiet mist that settles after the rain. She knows when I am sad. When I am singing sad songs, she will immediately come running and meowing, brushing her body against my arm, butting my forehead with a gentle nudge or licking the tears on my face. Her meows are filled with heartwarming companionship as if telling me, "things will be alright."
I adopted her from the Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center on June 29, 2021. She was 3 years old then. I saw her photo at PetFinder and I was immediately drawn to those piercing blue eyes. I thought she would be the perfect companion to Ozzie. And I was not disappointed. She was the yin to his yang.
