Unstoppable

The first lesson to job hunting is to think of it as your next full-time work as you look for another job that pays you for the skills and expertise you have to offer.  That means, create a work structure and environment to accomplish your goal.  Develop a template for your resume and cover letter knowing that you will have to tailor fit that to every job application you submit.  Organize your submissions based on each of the jobs you applied for by creating individual folders and a master Excel file list for easy reference.  Scour sources for job openings using Google, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, Indeed, and other reputable recruiting agency.  Connect with people you know who may be great links to internal jobs not yet even posted.  Request their assistance as references if they know your work and can verify for it as well as your character.

When everything essential is at your disposal, begin matching your skills, competencies, and experiences, with the job openings.  Don't be intimidated by jobs that call for a different experience such as newer technologies, AI knowledge, platforms for work delivery, readiness for security clearances, and the like.  The key is to get past AI screening by highlighting the core skills and competencies that you have and landing the job interview.  It does not get you the job YET but it opens another opportunity to explore.

You will learn more about the job posted during the interview.  You will be able to ask questions about the current day to day work, the team composition, the present undertaking and future of the company.  If everything goes well and the job truly matches what you are looking for you just might get the offer.  Good Luck.  Remember that persistence is a habit that if honed to perfection becomes a mantle to your unstoppable character.
