7th Death Anniversary

 Yesterday was the 7th year of your passing.  To dispel the gloom, I offered for your intention the masses I attended.  I went to the gravesite as I usually do after the Sunday service to offer a short prayer for your eternal rest.

As a consolation, who should I meet but Father DeAscanis at the Our Lady's Center Marian Shrine celebrating its 50th anniversary.  The reverend so vitally close to you as he gave you all the sacraments before you died as you embraced the Catholic faith told me he was just talking about you.  There must have been something special about your last days with him as 7 years later to the day of your death, he remembered you.  Thereby, I reminded him that October 13, 2017 was the day you departed from the earthly life and he led us to a short prayer for your eternal peace.

God is so good that time and again He reminds me there is much to await for in heaven's promise and that death in this life just begins life in another.
