From of old, before my nature began to seek light, God carved my name with a purpose. Whatever I seek in this earthly life, my journey should end with perseverance; discovering the intended, unwrapping that gift that blossomed in the simple thought of designing my personhood. It is in the act of belonging, to yearn for the continued craftsmanship of the Almighty that the work He started should ceaselessly evolve in my living.
Yet sorrow of sorrows that I should find myself molded by the craftiness of the world, fashioned into icons mortal, seeking acceptance for the conformity of ordinary creatures. Succumbing to this worldly temptation of facsimile, mere copies of originals dissembling the sacred nature scribed into my heart. My will should recede for the Creator to chisel His masterpiece. To leave ego's throne and seek the divine in every living creature's soul for what image is stamped is the face of God.
