hese are the archaeological remains of the Roman Forum where St. Paul publicly taught the faith.  The structure lies much preserved than the ruins in Philippi because it is close to the city center.

The next stop is the St Demetrius Orthodox church which is the oldest church first built in 5th century AD.  He is a healing saint.
