T

his is the first country to explore for this pilgrimage - Greece!  Eleni our tour guide gave us the itinerary for the next 2 days and showed us nearby (walking distance) places to explore beside the hotel.

We stayed in the Lazart hotel with its typical building architecture and veranda.  We found a  makopa orchard near the hotel also.  We were going to check the museum across the hotel when half-way down the walk way I spotted what looked like limbs from a beast.  Could not tell if it was a dog or something else. 

Fearing an unwanted rabies shot, we retreated cowardly back to the hotel daring not to disturb what giant sleeps behind the museum wall.  Better safe than sorry is a good motto for travelers.

We filled our bellies with good old carbs and walked at the local market for peaches, chocolate bar, and hand sanitizer.

We have an activity scheduled tonight - mass and late supper at 8 pm.  With all that carbs, will there be room for other delicacies?
