End of Greece Trip

inally, after ten days in Greece, it is time to say hello to Sarajevo, Croatia where the pilgrimage continues to the famed city of Medjugorje.

 It is a town in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a favorite Catholic pilgrimage site renowned after the apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary in 1981. 

But before we left Greece, we had a city tour courtesy of 206 Tours with a new guide Venetia.  It is our last day in the city and to celebrate the end of the stay here we all voted to eat at the world famous golden arches known as McDonalds.  Do I sense a pang of homesickness among US tourists longing for its mother’s nurturing embrace after a dose of foreign dalliance?
