Challenges in the Travel

T

he first day of my vacation commenced and I am consumed by a flurry of activities.  Increasing by the day is a feeling not of excitement but of dread and anxiety.  This is not my type of vacation.  I should be resting my body, my mind, and refreshing my spirit.

Yet, here I am - a jumbled mass of quivering nerves.  Why did I have to disrupt my normal rhythm for a trip that now seemed outlandish and extravagant?

A

s luck would have it, just when I thought I was done packing, while I lock my luggage, it broke leaving me barred out of my clothes.  I had to tear the zipper a bit to break the seal using a flat screw driver.  I needed another suit bag to use.

My sister offered a pair of luggage to replace mine but I had to meet her earlier than previously planned.

On her end, Teresa (my sister nicknamed Tere), could not check in with the Austrian airlines because our paid tickets were not popping up in the system.   We are both having our last minute melt downs.

This is going to be some kind of FUN.
