Preservation

 “You, O Lord, will preserve us, and you will guard us from this generation into eternity.”

Is your preservation Lord a sign of your faithful's predestination?  Are those who rest their belief and faith in you under your mantle of protection?  When the world today speaks of utter duplicity many have wandered away even those that have been baptized into your family.  Yet, you promise vigilance and perpetuity in your presence even to the end of times and outside of time. 

Please God establish my steps daily as I traversed the pathways of this earth.  There are pitfalls that I may stumble into and there are snares that will snag my feet.  Keep me safe as I walk these rugged and lonely roads as my heart looks for a pittance for company.  Let it be you who I turn to and not the siren, wily calls of depravity.  Lord, I pray keep me always in your path.
