2nd Timothy : 1 : 7 - For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of virtue, and of love, and of self-restraint.

"Do not be afraid. Peace." Words that are difficult to embrace when you are in the midst of great suffering. Maybe, this kind of suffering lives only within you and that makes it even harder to bear when nobody seems to understand the struggle. That is when the feeling of isolation and aloneness looms heavier than the levity of hope.
In these moments of near despairing, at the edge of a cliff lift up your eyes heavenward and breathe. Let the confusion dissipate. Settle your mind and open your heart to sweet surrender. Jump to the arms of the heavenly Father. Detachment from the cares of the world means asking for help, summoning a rescue that is spirit filled. It means abandonment of all that cause fear and anxiety. Submit yourself to a willingness to let God take control. Pray unceasingly with fervor and zeal to lay your life at the feet of the Almighty.
God loves you and wishes no one to perish. His mantle of love is sweet. His yoke is easy and the burden is light. There in the eye of the storm is unmistakable peace that settles all discomfiture.
