Power of Prayer
Today I called on God and He heard my prayers. I implored His help so I can fix a light fixture that will brighten the steps in the basement. Two weeks ago, my son and a handyman gave up trying to install the fluorescent lamps. They both said I may need an electrician.
I pushed a small table that will provide a sturdy and safe place for me to stand on so I can reach the ceiling. As I installed the lamps, I prayed to God to help me in this task. It took awhile but just when I was about to give up suddenly the lamps lit up the place. I was totally overwhelmed that God is mindful of me even in the little things that seem ordinary and uneventful.
Thank you, God because you hear my every prayer. I believe that you sent my guardian angel to protect, guide, and help me. I believe in the power of prayers. In all things, I take to your notice because I am truly, wonderfully, and joyously in your care. Everything that is in my life, you have provided with your blessings. And even in the saddest moments, you helped me go through the pain, cultivated in my heart the stronghold of courage, and fortified me with the endurance to withstand the onslaught of challenges and change.
Prayer is the littlest nerve that moves the mighty arm of omnipotence. It is the innocence of coincidence that springs unaware with a whisper. It is the transcendent peace that wraps the heart and mind in a warm embrace heralding God's presence.
