Deliver Me

You heard my cry oh Lord and you rescued me.  Who do I trust with my life but you?  You are the very breath that I take.  In you I am, I move, and have my being.  Without you, I falter, I fall, and I get lost in the way.

You, oh God are my stronghold.  You are my strength.  You give me courage to go on.  You wipe the tears from my eyes.  You restore my flagging spirit.  You turn my sadness into joy.

You called to me in your pain;
    I got you out of a bad place’ (Psalm 81:6–7 MSG).
