Lord, how often do I tear up my own house when I tear down others with my sharp tongue?  My angry rebukes do nothing but harden hearts.  Teach me to be gentle and to reverence others as God’s image in my midst.  Help me be the conduit through which your love flows.  Help me to be holy and to aspire only to be holy.  Forgive my sins, oh God specially that which involved my reaper tongue.  I commend my life and soul to you.  Refresh it, make it new, according to your holy will.
