God’s Will

 “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

First I have to seek to know you, oh God before I can discern your will.  I have been birthed into this world, introduced and inducted to its ways.  I have been molded to conform to its patterns, rhythms, expectations, longings, and desires.  I have been clothed in its sinful and wayward ways.  

You, oh God opened my heart and mind to taste and see your goodness.  The abundance of your creations groaning to provide my daily physical needs rendered me to query - who created all these?  You are in every living thing, and you permeate even that which is not living - the sun, the moon, the stars and all the heavens above.  You breathed life into this world so that all may know your majesty.
