The Simple Mask

Truth condemns folly when we choose to ignore it.  Many lives would have been saved, have we heeded the simple task of donning a mask during the pandemic.  But when instruction is distorted to score political points, it becomes a deadly weapon.

The voice of truth is drowned by the clamorous noise of self-promotion no matter if it leads to destruction.  Being talked about, being the center of people’s consciousness puts other people’s life in peril.  Where do we turn when propaganda becomes the basis of instruction?

Only you Lord holds the truth and it is in you that I place my trust.
