Share in God’s Love

“ Righteous Father, the world also does not know you, but I know you, and they know that you sent me.  I made known to them your name and I will make it known, that the love with which you loved me may be in them and I in them.”

John 17: 25-26

Your love, oh God is like an abundant spring that never runs out.  You seek to share this love and mercy so that none shall perish.  Your love though is not forceful but gentle.  Without surrendering our lives and will to you, without our wholehearted choice to do so, salvation is but a breath away.  It is offered freely but we have to accept it with our whole heart, mind, soul, and being.  It is through your Son Jesus that we receive this unfailing, unending love.  Thank you, God for your love is overwhelming.
