Justice and Mercy

I see injustice in the news everyday and it is disheartening.  It is not God’s will but man’s.  I turn to you oh God for your justice for you alone can see through the heart.  This doesn’t mean I no longer get involved in the matters of deriving justice but it can only be through legal, rule-based ways.  It is man-made as I live peacefully among others.

Civility, respect, consideration for others - all these I uphold.  But there is a greater law above this - to seek your face in everything I do and in every person I encounter.  Therefore, I seek your holy will in all circumstances and trust that in the end, your mercy and justice will prevail.
