God’s Justice

 “The Lord is slow to anger, abounding in love and forgiving sin and rebellion. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.”

God’s justice seem unfair.  Why should sin blot the lives of children for their parents’ sin?  Sin has a way of smothering the rest of the family.  It becomes a collective way of life.  The children model after their parents and unless sin is eradicated, it is passed on from one generation to the next.
