The Right Path
“Do not delight in the paths of the impious, nor permit the way of evil-doers to please you. Take flight from it. Do not pass close to it. Turn away and abandon it.”

It is easy to be misled. The path may seem to be the one mostly traveled. There is comfort in walking in other people’s company. There is validation and motivation from others to tread this walkway that have been cleared by those who have gone before. There is assurance that is the right path to take in life’s journey.
But not all paths are righteous though it is the most traveled. The discernment is on the word of God. Do I traverse the road following God’s decrees? If the path leads me away from His word, I have taken the wrong turn and recalibration is the only recourse to get back on track.
Lord God help me for I am a sinner. Many times I take the convenient route with all the pleasures that feed my senses. Yet it leaves me empty, hungry, and parched. I long to feel your presence and find rest to lay my weary body and troubled soul. Help me as I navigate through these uncharted roads and lead me only to you.
