The Blind Can See
“And behold, two blind men, sitting by the way, heard that Jesus was passing by; and they cried out, saying, "Lord, Son of David, take pity on us." But the crowd rebuked them to be quiet. But they cried out all the more, saying, "Lord, Son of David, take pity on us." And Jesus stood still, and he called them and said, "What do you want, that I might do for you?" They said to him, "Lord, that our eyes be opened." Then Jesus, taking pity on them, touched their eyes. And immediately they saw, and they followed him.”

Lord, God how amazing is your love that you should pour out generously even to those who do not yet believe. All that is necessary is a willing heart to change even how we see the world. Sometimes it is not a physical or physiological want but a spiritual awakening that will heal the blindness.
Before I met you, I thought I knew you from the Bible stories I heard at home, in school, and in the church. It was the moment when the Holy Spirit opened my eyes that I saw without seeing and knew without the understanding. This copious outpouring of your grace overwhelmed me and I was changed.
Thank you Lord for saving me from the spiritual darkness that engulfed me. Your light gave me hope to reach beyond the confines of the shadows and step into a blazing fire that is You. Jesus I trust in you.
