Hope

 “But let all those who hope in you rejoice. They will exult in eternity, and you will dwell in them. And all those who love your name will glory in you. For you will bless the just. You have crowned us, O Lord, as if with a shield of your good will.”

It is not always easy to feel hopeful when the chips are down and it seems prayers are not answered.  But hope is not a feeling but a resolve.  It rests solidly on a belief that “all things will work together for good” to those who put their trust in God.  

God always answers prayers although we may not always like what He tells us.  This is where our faith and hope rest.  My prayer should be one of total surrender to God’s will.  

“Let your will be done.  Jesus I trust in you.”
