God Answers Prayers

 “And so, today I arrived at the well of water, and I said: 'O Lord, the God of my lord Abraham, if you have directed my way, in which I now walk, behold, I stand next to the well of water, and the virgin, who will go forth to draw water, will hear from me, "Give me a little water to drink from your pitcher." And she will say to me, "You drink, and I will also draw for your camels." Let the same be the woman, whom the Lord has prepared for the son of my lord.'”

When the heart is attuned to God, we can hear His voice.  He knows our needs and answers our prayers.  He provides accordingly to the measure that He sees fit.  He knows what is good for us.

Thank you, Father in heaven that you look after us.  Please help me also to look after my own brothers and sisters and even those beyond the gates of my home - the poor, the needy, those who are lonely, and forgotten.  Let our works of charity magnify only your provisions and through your Son Jesus be made truly holy in your sight.  Jesus, I trust in you.
