I cling to this prayer as the world faces an enemy invisible to the human eye; with rapacious stealth, virulence, and deadly precision the virus propagates with impunity. And death, the stench of it chokes us all in fear.
As the mounting fear threatens our lives with no amulet or ammunition to fight back the danger unleashed by the enemy, there is no recourse but to call the Heavenly Father in prayers petitioning for its abatement. More than that, to place our hopes and trust in the almighty God who created this earth and all its wonders just by its breath. It is the breath of life not held by any pharmaceutical concoction that can save humanity from utter and senseless destruction.
I believe and I embrace whatever fate befalls me and my family is in the hands of God. My soul is at peace and my heart is still.
