It’s Your Birthday Today

Your children and I remembered how much you meant to us and how your life was a blessing.  To all who knew the person that you were, we would all agree that you were a good person.  Your spirit is still with us in mind and in heart.  Your physical death did not separate us from your love.

Yama and I talked about you today and remembered what you gave us.  You gave us that lesson of presence; to grasp what is in the here and now; and to freely let go of the burdens of the past or the gnawing anxiety of the future.  You always said, “Enjoy the moments.  Life does not offer any guarantees.  Live today as if it is your last.”
