Rest in Peace, Beloved

I received a call from Holy Cross Memorial Cemetery a few days ago.  Susan Schmidt said your grave site already has a marker.  She warned me that if I visit you, I should come prepared because my emotional wounds may open fresh. 

I visited you today and I felt oddly at peace.  I took some flowers with me and I said a short prayer. 

"My dearest, Tosh --- may perpetual light shine upon you."
