A Season of Change
"You will never again be the person you once were. You will have lost, but in addition to the losing - because of the losing - you will have gained." (Miller, 1995)
As my grief lifted and my sobbing ceased, I began to see that there is more to life than just the here and now. God surely must have fashioned our human heart and committed it to a garden of immortality. Our earthly skin is a temporary vessel given away through death and decay. We die only to live again in the bosom of God's eternal dwelling.
