Sad

Anyone who tells you that you will not cry when the holidays are here is either lying or just inexperienced.  I will tell you that it hurts.  You find yourself alone even in the midst of all the festivities; in the company of family and friends, you just feel all alone.

I didn’t just lose you, I lost a home.  I realize that all my life I just worked and now it seems my world is empty without you.  The children are all gone - living their own lives.  Even though our daughter is physically home, her spirit belongs to a future away from home.   All I have left this Christmas is Ozzie.  Sad.
